K is for Kazdy is a late game side mission in Deus Ex Mankind Divided. How to start: On your third visit to Prague (the one where it’s under curfew), you’ll get an SOS message which will point you towards the Samizdat base in the sewers. Go there and talk to Little K to start the mission.

Infiltrate the makeshift station

Description: K and Bones are being held in the makeshift police station just outside Monument metro. This is my best and only chance to get them out before they get moved somewhere worse.

Travel to Monument station and sneak into the tiny police building north of the entrance. It’s really nearby, so you won’t have to worry about police attention.

Find a way to open the cell

Description: I managed to get to where K and Bones are being held. Now I need to find a way to release them from this cell.

When you go down into the basement, you’ll see the portable cell in which the journalists are trapped. Go towards the lockers – you’ll find a terminal between them and the cells. It’s only a level 1, so you should be able to hack it no matter what. Once it’s unlocked, simply open the door.

During your talk with K about how to proceed, you’ll have three options:

  • Play it cool – K and Bones will dress up as policemen and walk casually to the meeting place. This is the safest option.
  • Guns blazing – The three of you will go outside and wreak havoc, which is risky since they can get hurt as well.
  • Wait here – The journalists will wait for you while you clear a path as violently as you’d like.

Meet Samizdat at the rendezvous

Description: I’m supposed to meet the freed memebers of Samizdat at the rendezvous – the Unneda Cleaning Supply store just down the street. All we have to do is get there alive. Once we make it to safety, I should follow up with K to ensure he has everything he needs.

If you’ve chosen the option to play it cool in the previous step, you won’t have to worry about the two men. They’ll get to their destination just fine. All you have to do then is get there yourself and speak to K. This is when you’ll get the K is for Kazdy achievement.
